Printed by hand from an original linocut block, each print carries slight variations in inking and impression, making every piece unique. This is labeled as “State II” because I ran an edition of an earlier, less carved version of this print. For this print, I went back to the block, recarved areas, and lightened the belly of the bird. I am also selling an edition of the “State I” prints at a discounted price, but when these two editions are gone I will not be making further prints.
